To provide financial assistance to students who are formally admitted to the journalism degree-seeking program at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Qualifications: Applicants must demonstrate motivation, academic and leadership potential; must be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0; must be formally admitted to a journalism degree-seeking program at the University of Alaska Fairbanks; may be incoming or continuing students at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Selection criteria: Preference will be given to Alaska Native students.
