To help women achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders, expand the image of the engineering profession as a positive force improving the quality of life, and demonstrate the value of diversity. Qualifications: Applicants must be a person who identifies as a woman; must be planning to pursue or currently pursuing an engineering technology or computing program that is accredited by the national board of accreditation of India or a SWE Affiliate; must have planning to enroll as a full-time student in the upcoming academic year; must not be receiving full funding for tuition fees and books or equivalent; not have to be a member of SWE to be eligible; who are current SWE collegiate or SWENext members are highly encouraged eligible; must have a high school GPA above 3.5 or University GPA above 3.0. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on application process, empowering future women engineers while fostering a strong engineering community; preference given to candidates from under-represented groups and candidates demonstrating financial need.
