To support students pursuing degrees in manufacturing fields in the state of Michigan. Qualifications: Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or current college student (associates or bachelor’s); must have minimum 2.0 GPA; must be pursuing an associate, bachelor's, or graduate degree in technical fields that directly support manufacturing; must be attending accredited college or university in Michigan; must be a permanent resident or citizen of the United States, Canada, or possess a student visa; must be full-time or part-time student. Selection criteria: Preference will be based on First preference: residents of Michigan; second preference: students enrolled in a college or university in Michigan. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form along with: transcripts; STEM course list: all applicants need to submit a list of completed STEM courses high school seniors must provide every STEM course completed in high school, freshman and sophomore college students must submit all collegiate level STEM courses and relevant high school STEM courses, junior, senior and graduate students must submit collegiate level STEM courses only; recommendation letters: students must provide two references for letters of recommendation; one reference must be a faculty member; other reference may be a faculty member, employer, mentor, coach, etc.; recommendation letters from STEM teachers and professors are highly recommended; FAFSA submission summary.
