To offer high school graduating seniors an opportunity to further their education with an interest in broadcast engineering. Qualifications: Applicants must be in their senior year of high school, anticipating graduation by the spring of current year; must intend to enroll at a technical school, college or university in the fall of current year; they must have a serious interest in pursuing studies leading to a career in broadcast engineering or closely related technical field; preference will be given to applicants who are SBE members. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee criteria. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online application form; a brief autobiography which includes applicants interests and goals in broadcasting; a brief written statement explaining applicants career goals and education plans after high school; a copy of applicants current or most recent high school transcripts.
