To support graduating high school seniors of Latino College Preparatory Academy (LCPA), Luis Valdez Leadership Academy (LVLA) and B. Roberto Cruz Leadership Academy (RCLA) who contribute to their campus in a meaningful way. Qualifications: Applicants must be a graduating high school senior of the Latino College Prep Academy (LCPA), Luis Valdez Leadership Academy (LVLA) and B. Roberto Cruz Leadership Academy (RCLA) in San Jose, California; must be planning to enroll in a two- or four-year college or vocational school as a part-time or full-time student; must have minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; should include letters can be up to 800 words in length; the body of the letter should include: letter-writer’s relationship to the applicant; length of time they have known the individual; why they recommend the applicant for this particular scholarship; why they believe the applicant will be successful in their academic goals; any additional information about the applicant that should be considered.
