To support Peninsula Regent employees and their dependents who plan to attend an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational program. Qualifications: Applicants must be current employees of TPR for at least 90 days as of February 28,current year or dependents of an employee who have worked for the TPR for at least 90 days as of the application deadline demonstrated financial hardship per the FAFSA or dream Act. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria; criteria for scholarship may include, but are not limited to, the following: prior academic performance; performance of each applicant on tests designed to measure ability and aptitude for educational work; recommendations from instructors of such applicant and any others who have knowledge of the applicant’s capabilities; additional biographical information regarding an applicant’s career, academic and other relevant experiences, financial need; conclusions basis as to the applicant’s motivation, character, ability, or potential.
