To support Dallas area fathers seeking undergraduate or graduate degrees in STEM fields. Qualifications: Applicant must reside in the Dallas, Texas, area and be the father of dependent children (defined as biological, step- or legally adopted children living in the father’s household or primarily supported by the father); must plan to enroll in an accredited institution during the upcoming academic year to seek a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Graduate degree in a STEM field; must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Recipients may reapply in subsequent years. Selection criteria: Selection is based on academics, work experience, participation and leadership in school and community activities, unusual personal or family circumstances, and statement of educational and career goals.
