To provide scholarships to children, spouses, and domestic partners of frontline healthcare workers who lost their life to a COVID-19-related cause. Qualifications: Applicant must be a child (age 26 or under), spouse or domestic partner of a frontline healthcare worker who lost their life to a COVID-19-related cause; must plan to enroll full-time or part-time in an undergraduate or graduate program (graduate program must have a patient-facing medical major) at an accredited vocational-technical school, two- or four-year college or university, or graduate school; must have a minimum 2.0 GPA; must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident living in and attending an educational institution in the U.S. or a U.S. territory (study abroad programs may be considered if run through an educational institution in the U.S. or a U.S. territory). Selection criteria: Scholarship is not competitive; all eligible applicants will receive an award. How to apply: Applicant must complete the online application and submit most recent transcripts; current IRS Tax Form 1040; birth certificate, marriage certificate or proof of student relationship to deceased healthcare worker; proof of occupation of deceased healthcare worker; and death certificate of deceased healthcare worker.
