To provide financial support to Massachusetts community college students transferring to four-year schools and pursuing STEM degrees. Qualifications: Applicant must be a current undergraduate sophomore student residing in and/or attending an accredited two-year community college in the Massachusetts counties of Middlesex, Norfolk, Suffolk, or Worcester; must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident; must be planning to transfer to an accredited four-year college or university and pursue a STEM degree; must be the first person in their family to attend college. Selection criteria: Selection is based on academic performance, work experience, demonstrated participation and leadership in school and community activities, unusual personal or family circumstances, submitted statement of education and career goals, and online recommendation. How to apply: Applicant must complete the online application and submit current transcripts and a completed FAFSA Submission Summary. Applicant must also have an online recommendation submitted on their behalf. Focus: Engineering; Mathematics and mathematical sciences; Science; Technology.
