To support fellows’ graduate or undergraduate study at an accredited institution based in the United States. Qualifications: Applications from candidates who reside in or attend schools in the following states are preferred: Connecticut, District of Columbia, Delaware, Maryland, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia; must be pursuing graduate or undergraduate study at an accredited U.S. based college or university. Selection criteria: Preference will be given to those who can satisfy high scholastic requirements and are considering careers in education; preference for graduate students and undergraduates with one year of college completed; preference is shown to those who have completed at least one year of undergraduate study or beyond. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online application; applicants must submit the following materials: the Roothbert Fund Application Form; a scanned copy of an official transcript from the applicant's current or most recent institution; three autobiographical essays; three letters of recommendation.
