To provide financial assistance for the education of children or grandchildren of active Postmasters or retired postmasters, who are members of the National League of Postmasters. Qualifications: Applicants must be children or grandchildren of active Postmasters or Retired Postmasters who are members of The National League of Postmasters. They must: be high school graduates accepted as first year students for fall admission to an accredited college, university or trade school; and, have a 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) overall including a 3.0 average for the last full year of high school. Selection criteria: Applicants will be evaluated based on academic performance by a certain committee for the program. How to apply: Applicants should include a biographical letter (not more than 400 words) discussing their plans for the college years and their life goals; latest transcript from high school. Focus: General studies/Field of study not specified.
