To provide financial assistance to members enrolled to ITP or IPP. Qualifications: Applicants must have dual memberships (National and Affiliate) at the Certified, Associate, or Student Level; must be currently enrolled full-time and/or taking 9 or more credit hours in an Interpreter/Transliterator Training or Preparation Program as well as submit proof of registration for full-time ITP/IPP coursework (minimum of 9 hours) for the subsequent fall semester; must have completed at least one semester of the ITP or IPP by May 31 of the award year; must have a minimum 3.0 GPA in the ITP or IPP. How to apply: Applicants must submit a letter of interest or video specifying financial need; an application form (can be downloaded from the website); transcripts; three letters of recommendation (must be from an ITP or IPP chair, instructor and personal reference); copies of current RID and affiliate chapter membership card or a letter of membership verification from an Affiliate Chapter officer. Focus: Hearing and deafness.
