To help high school seniors and college-enrolled students pursue post-secondary education. Qualifications: Applicants must be Del Sol Academy seniors living in Clark County, Nevada who are active in sports and their community and must plan to attend an accredited college or university; must minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on involvement in sports, community, and school; academic performance; and quality of the essay and recommendations. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application and following items: essay 400-500 words - describe how their involvement in sports, their community, and their school is important to their; list all sports and community involvement; a letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, administrator, coach or advisor; a letter of recommendation (a second letter; any source other than a peer or relative); resume; most current transcript; verification of enrollment (class schedule). Focus: Education, Physical; Sports studies.
