To provide CCSD Nevada female high school seniors. Qualifications: Applicants must be female; must plan to attend an accredited post-secondary institution in Nevada as a full-time student beginning in the fall may apply for this scholarship; a minimum 3.0 GPA is required and the student must demonstrate financial need. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria. How to apply: Applications must be submit essay - explain applicant career goals, aspirations, leadership roles and any community service involvement; should write a "financial need letter" explaining why applicant need assistance with applicant college/school expenses; should submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, administrator, coach or advisor; submit applicant most current transcript (unofficial); resume.
