To encourage students of different backgrounds, educational interests and to promote leadership and diversity in the LGBTQ community. Qualifications: Applicants must be residents of areas outside of King County where Pride Foundation is working to enhance the leadership of the LGBTQ and ally community: Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Eastern Washington, and Northwest/Southwest Washington. Selection criteria: Priority given to LGBTQ+ students who need it most, for example, those who have faced family rejection and/or systemic barriers to educational access or have demonstrated commitment to advancing justice and the well-being of their communities. How to apply: Applicant must submit three essays, a resume, and academic transcripts. Focus: General studies/Field of study not specified.
