To assist LGBTQ community college students in fulfilling their ambitions of graduating with an associate’s degree and/or transferring to a four-year college or university. Qualifications: Applicants must be enrolled or intending to enroll at an accredited community college in based in the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska; must have 1-2 years of community college left and be (1) intending to transfer to a bachelor’s degree program at a four-year college or university or (2) graduate with an associates degree; must be “out” as a person who identifies as a member of the LGBTQ community. Selection criteria: Selection is based on many factors, including financial need or independence, personal history, academic achievement, and community involvement and work experience.
