To support students pursuing postsecondary education in order to become artists. Qualifications: Applicant must be an undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a career as an artist; must be enrolled at an accredited institution in the United States on a full-time basis; must have a minimum 3.0 GPA; must be a U.S. resident. Selection criteria: Completed applications submitted by the program deadline date and time are reviewed according to specific fund criteria; applications are sent to individual selection committees for review and selections. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application, which includes: One personal statement essay and one list of extracurricular/community service activities; school transcript (complete with final grade information); current high school seniors attending Kamehameha Schools only: One letter of recommendation; supplemental documents such as LORs, FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS) and art portfolios. Focus: Art; Drawing; Graphic art and design; Painting.
