To support students from Hawaii Island who are pursuing postsecondary education. Qualifications: Applicants must be Hawaii Island resident; must currently enrolled or will enroll in a 2- or 4-year accredited institution in Hawaii or the continental U.S; must confirmed full-time enrollment; demonstrate financial need or demonstrate merit achievement in current studies. Selection criteria: Completed applications submitted by the program deadline date and time are reviewed according to specific fund criteria; applications are sent to individual selection committees for review and selections. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application, which includes: One personal statement essay and one list of extracurricular/community service activities; school transcript (complete with final grade information); current high school seniors attending Kamehameha Schools only: One letter of recommendation; supplemental documents such as LORs, FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS) and art portfolios.
