To support Hawaiian students pursuing undergraduate degrees on the U.S. mainland. Qualifications: Applicant must be a resident of the state of Hawaii pursuing an undergraduate degree at an accredited institution on the continental U.S; must have junior or senior standing; must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need. Selection criteria: Completed applications submitted by the program deadline date and time are reviewed according to specific fund criteria; applications are sent to individual selection committees for review and selections. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application, which includes: One personal statement essay and one list of extracurricular/community service activities; school transcript (complete with final grade information); current high school seniors attending Kamehameha Schools only: One letter of recommendation; supplemental documents such as LORs, FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS) and art portfolios.
