Qualifications: Applicants must have a minimum GPA 2.0; must non-traditional student (single parent, sole provider, homeless, ward of the court, etc.); half-time enrollment allowed; must demonstrate financial need. Selection criteria: Completed applications submitted by the program deadline date and time are reviewed according to specific fund criteria; applications are sent to individual selection committees for review and selections. How to apply: Applicant must submit Student Aid Report (SAR) from the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA); submit two letters of recommendation from an educator, community representative, or employer; submit an essay response to the following question: "The lessons we take from obstacles we encounter can be fundamental to later success. Recount a time when the applicant faced a challenge, setback, or failure, how it affected them, and what they learned from the experience. Focus: General studies/Field of study not specified.
