To support students pursuing degrees in Advancing the Hawaiian Language, Charter School Support, Land Stewardship, or Early Childhood Education and Literacy. Qualifications: Applicant must be an undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in one of the following areas: Advancing the Hawaiian Language, Charter School Support, Land Stewardship or Early Childhood Education and Literacy. Applicant must be a U.S. resident enrolled at an accredited institution in the United States. Selection criteria: Completed applications submitted by the program deadline date and time are reviewed according to specific fund criteria; applications are sent to individual selection committees for review and selections. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application, which includes: One personal statement essay and one list of extracurricular/community service activities; school transcript (complete with final grade information); current high school seniors attending Kamehameha Schools only: One letter of recommendation; supplemental documents such as LORs, FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS) and art portfolios. Focus: Area and ethnic studies; Education; Foreign languages.
