To support JROTC cadets from Farrington High School who are pursuing postsecondary education. Qualifications: Applicant must be a graduating high school senior and Cadet in Junior Reserve Officer Training (JROTC) program from Farrington High School; must have successfully completed a minimum one-year JROTC program and held a leadership position; must demonstrate high moral character and exemplify the Army Values of: Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage; must be pursuing an undergraduate/vocational degree on a part- of full-time basis; must be pursuing a career in the fields of public safety, military, education, or healthcare; must be enrolled at an accredited institution in the United States. Selection criteria: Completed applications submitted by the program deadline date and time are reviewed according to specific fund criteria; applications are sent to individual selection committees for review and selections. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application, which includes: One personal statement essay and one list of extracurricular/community service activities; school transcript (complete with final grade information); current high school seniors attending Kamehameha Schools only: One letter of recommendation; supplemental documents such as LORs, FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS) and art portfolios. Focus: Education; Health sciences; Military science and education; Public service.
