To support Hawaiian students pursuing careers in the Hawaiian travel management industry. Qualifications: Applicant must be a resident of Hawaii pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees in travel industry management; must demonstrate a desire to work in the Hawaii lodging industry after graduation; must have a minimum 2.8 GPA; must be enrolled in an accredited institution in the United States. Selection criteria: Completed applications submitted by the program deadline date and time are reviewed according to specific fund criteria; applications are sent to individual selection committees for review and selections. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application, which includes: One personal statement essay and one list of extracurricular/community service activities; school transcript (complete with final grade information); current high school seniors attending Kamehameha Schools only: One letter of recommendation; supplemental documents such as LORs, FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS) and art portfolios.
