To support students pursuing undergraduate or vocational degrees in environmental protection or study of Hawaii environment, agricultural sciences, oceanography, and Hawaiian Language, history, or culture. Qualifications: Applicant must be pursuing an undergraduate degree or vocational/technical certificate in the fields of environmental protection or study of Hawaii environment, agricultural sciences, oceanography, or Hawaiian Language, history, or culture; must have a minimum 2.0 GPA; must be enrolled in an accredited institution in the United States on a part-time or full-time basis; must be a U.S. resident. Selection criteria: Completed applications submitted by the program deadline date and time are reviewed according to specific fund criteria; applications are sent to individual selection committees for review and selections. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application, which includes: One personal statement essay and one list of extracurricular/community service activities; school transcript (complete with final grade information); current high school seniors attending Kamehameha Schools only: One letter of recommendation; supplemental documents such as LORs, FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS) and art portfolios. Focus: Agricultural sciences; Area and ethnic studies; Environmental conservation; Oceanography.
