To provide postsecondary education support to students who have shown the ability to overcome barriers, especially those seeking to help others or better their environment. Qualifications: Applicants must be graduate or graduating senior of Cottage Grove or Al Kennedy Alternative High Schools; 3.0 high school GPA preferred, but not required; If college student, 3.0 GPA required; Attend a public or nonprofit private institution of higher education in the United States, including community college; Enrolled at least half-time. Selection criteria: Preference will be given to those seeking to be agents of social change or environmental advocates.
