To provide college scholarships to outstanding seniors at Rochester High School. Qualifications: Applicants must be graduating seniors who have attended RHS for at least 2 academic years; academic excellence, and have a financial need. Demonstration of originality and independence of thought; active in school, work and the community; and plan to attend an accredited college of arts and sciences in pursuit of a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria and following criteria may include but are not limited to: academic performance; applicant’s performance on tests to measure ability and aptitude for educational work; recommendations; applicant’s biographical information; applicant’s ability, character, motivation, and potential.
