To provide scholarships for Caston High School graduates pursuing a degree in the field of elementary education. Qualifications: Applicants must be Graduating Seniors of Caston High School pursuing a degree in the field of elementary education; although not required, students who participate in the golf program will be given preference; must display good academics and citizenship in school, work and community. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria and following criteria may include but are not limited to: academic performance; applicant’s performance on tests to measure ability and aptitude for educational work; recommendations; applicant’s biographical information; applicant’s ability, character, motivation, and potential; preference given to students who participated in golf during their high school career.
