To provide scholarships to Knox High School graduating seniors pursuing college studies in education or science. Qualifications: Applicants must be a graduating Knox High School senior who attended the school for at least two years and is pursuing a degree in education and/or a natural sciences field; recipients must also demonstrate meaningful involvement in their community and high school and display good citizenship; applicants must be pursuing a degree either in education or a science-related field. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria and following criteria may include but are not limited to: academic performance; applicant’s performance on tests to measure ability and aptitude for educational work; recommendations; applicant’s biographical information; applicant’s ability, character, motivation, and potential.
