To support students who are financially in need for their education. Qualifications: Applicants must plan to enroll as a freshman at North Dakota State University; current North Dakota Farmers Union members, members of a cooperative or relatives of past Co-op House member; attach applicants most recent high school transcript; also include a copy of applicants ACT scores as they are important to the selection process; applicants need to be pursuing a career important to rural America; the field of study is not limited to agri-business, farm operation and production agriculture; during the last three years of school, applicants must have a grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on academic achievement and financial need are important elements in making the scholarship selection.
