To provide financial assistance to students from one of the nineteen Pueblo Nations of New Mexico who are pursuing postsecondary education on a full-time basis. Qualifications: Applicant must be an enrolled member or 1st/2nd generation descendant of one of the nineteen Pueblo Nations in New Mexico; must be enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university pursuing a certificate, vocational trade, undergraduate (juniors and seniors only), or graduate degree; must be pursuing a Vocational Trade OR a degree with a focus in a STEM or STEM-related discipline, Public Policy, Business Administration, Communications/Journalism, or Education; must have a minimum unweighted cumulative GPA of 3.0 (undergraduate) or 3.5 (graduate). How to apply: Application must include the following: a completed Native Forward Scholars Fund Personal Profile; a Tribal Eligibility Certificate (TEC) verified by the Tribal Enrollment Office; a Financial Needs Form (FNF) completed by the institution’s Financial Aid Office; the applicant’s most recent academic transcript; one or more scholarship-specific essays; one academic reference; and one community or leadership reference. Focus: Business; Communications; Education; Engineering; Journalism; Mathematics and mathematical sciences; Science; Technology.
