To honor who has gone above and beyond in their service to their fire department. Qualifications: Applicants must be junior firefighter. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the determined through a nationwide nomination process; based on following How to apply: Applicants must submit online nomination form; should include 500-word essay describing the nominee's contribution to their fire department, including specific examples of how they have exemplified the spirit of youth community involvement and why they should be chosen for this award; two (2) letters of recommendation, including one from department chief or program advisor; up to three (3) additional supporting documents. Focus: Fires and fire prevention.
