To support students attending graduate school in any accredited college or university. Qualifications: Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.25; must be citizens of the United States; must also attend or plan to attend an accredited college or university in the United States. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee criteria and include academic excellence, commitment to the field of study, and/or financial need, or other restrictions on specific scholarships. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application and following items: a personal statement of 1,000 words or less setting forth the their career objectives; a recent copy of their high school transcript and/or college and graduate school transcripts; home-schooled students must include transcripts for grade nine through final year; Applicants with GEDs should submit their GED transcript; information required by specific scholarships such as financial need information, a letter of acceptance into a special program or a transcript stating their are in a special program like nursing or medicine, proof of tribal membership if a native American, or special test scores if in a graduate program (such as MCAT or LSAT); proof of United States citizenship; photocopy one of the following documents: a birth certificate, naturalization papers, or the information page of their United States passport; a one-page document or listing of their extra-curricular activities, honors received, and scholastic achievements; the information should not exceed one-side of a 8 1/2 inch by 11 inch piece of paper and must include their name; letters of recommendation from at least two people.
