To reward the academic achievements of NOITU members and to help defray the rising costs of pursuing a college degree. Qualifications: Applicants must maintain a GPA of 3.2 each year of their undergraduate academic career; must be the son, daughter, or legally adopted child of a NOITU member; must be graduating from high school and attending an accredited college in the upcoming fall term; must be children of members of NOITU, under the procedures and rules outlined in the announcement; the parent of the applicant must have at least one year of continuous membership in good standing with NOITU as of the date of application and must be working full-time for a company under contract with NOITU. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; should include scholastic aptitude test (SAT I) scores; verification of acceptance by a college or university approved by the Federation of Regional Accrediting commission of higher education; letters of recommendation from (2) faculty members, preferably on high school letterhead, from the high school applicants are attending; high school transcript (showing final grades through the first semester of the Senior Year); the name and address of the college applicants will be attending.
