CIGNA Undergraduate Scholarship

To provide several scholarships to undergraduate students through its partnerships with corporate supporters, public sector organizations, and individual contributors. Qualifications: Applicant must be a current full-time undergraduate student (full-time undergraduate is enrollment in minimum of 12 current credits); currently enrolled in a U.S. based traditional four-year, accredited college or university; HBCU students are encouraged to apply; must be African American and minority student. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the strong academic record; demonstration of clear financial need outstanding leadership, particularly as related to public service; excellent interpersonal skills; excellent analytical skills strong writing skills including grammar, substance, spelling, etc., strong verbal communication skills participation in school activities community service, particularly as related to public service quality of personal statement; following instructions; overall quality of application submission. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; official transcript(s); letters of recommendation personal statement headshot; video of three minutes in response to NFBPA question; Cigna and Aflac - applicant specifics; essay: between 500 - 750 words. Focus: Political science; Public administration; Urban affairs/design/planning.
