To promote excellence and funds this scholarship based on Oracle’s understanding of its impact on disabled employees and customers throughout the globe. Qualifications: Applicants must be legally blind in both eyes; must be residing in the United States, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico; must be 18 years of age by July 8, current year; must be pursuing or planning to pursue a full-time, post-secondary course of study in a degree program at a U.S. institution in the fall of the year of application; must participate in person in the entire NFB national convention and in all of its scheduled scholarship program activities. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria include academic excellence, community service, and leadership. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online application form and attach details must be in doc, docx, rtf, or pdf file format; do not accept faxed documents; one essay, limited to 700 words or less; transcript (original or copy); high school seniors only-report on college entrance examinations should be submitted, proof of legal blindness; do not send actual medical records; provide a clear statement from a qualified professional.
