To promote professional development and business aviation careers. Qualifications: Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident; applicant must be a full-time undergraduate student (sophomore or higher) enrolled in an aviation program at a University; proof of enrollment or acceptance of enrollment must be provided prior to award distribution; applicant must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0. Selection criteria: Recipients of this award are determined by NBAA. How to apply: Applicants must submit an online application form; a completed application package consisting of: an essay, a resume, an unofficial transcript, and one signed letter of recommendation; a minimum 500-word essay describing interest in and goals for a career in business aviation; an official transcript issued by the school, or a copy of the transcript; a current one-page resume with permanent home address; two letters of recommendation from individuals qualified to comment on career aspirations and qualifications, especially as they relate to business aviation; one letter must be from a member of the aviation department faculty at the institution currently attended.
