To help a law student further their law school education. Qualifications: Applicants must be a 1L or 2L law student who exhibits academic excellence, leadership, volunteerism, mentorship experience, and demonstrates an interest in AAPI civic issues; must enrolled in an accredited U.S. law school or when applicable, accredited U.S. colleges and universities; entering law school as first year students are eligible. Selection criteria: Special consideration will be given to applicants who have been adversely affected by cancer (as a survivor or family member of a victim or survivor); selection will be based on academic achievement, financial need, leadership potential, and commitment to or interest in serving the Asian Pacific American community; the committee will carefully review the applicant's transcript, letters of recommendation, and resume along with their essay.
