To honor and aid students who demonstrate outstanding personal and academic characteristics. Qualifications: Applicants must be a immediate family of NAFA distributors, manufacturers, supplemental and affiliate members in good standing, or family members of employees of NAFA member firms; grandchildren of NAFA members are also eligible to compete; minimum ACT score of 22/SAT score of 900; rank in the top 35% of applicants high school graduating class; for transfer or current college students, have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online application form; a written essay of 1-2 typewritten pages that gives a brief biographical sketch of the individual along with reasons why they feel they should receive the scholarship; and two letters of recommendation, one of which must be from a recent teacher; neither recommendation should be from a family member; must also submit a recent photo attached to the application for press release purposes.
