To provide an opportunity for fellows to receive training in scientific research and conservation practices. Qualifications: Applicants must be recent master's graduates, PhD candidates, postdoctoral scholars, and senior scientists and researchers are eligible; junior fellows are those applicants who have recently completed graduate-level training; senior fellows are well-established professionals with at least eight years of experience in the field and a proven publication record, or those who have their PhD in hand by the application deadline date. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; should include curriculum vitae, three letters of recommendation, official transcripts, an application profile, junior fellowship applicants must also include: statement of interest and intent, not to exceed 1,000 words; senior fellowship applicants must also include: a project proposal, not to exceed 1,000 words; a brief schedule of work to be accomplished during the fellowship period and, if applicants are proposing a fellowship xeriod shorter than one year, applicants proposed starting and ending dates (separate from project proposal); paper Conservation applicants (junior or senior) must also include: two treatment reports and associated documentation with explanations justifying the reason for treatment and decisions entering each stage of treatment (not to exceed 750 words per object).
