To support Marion County students pursuing degrees in medical fields. Qualifications: Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or previous graduate from a Marion County high school, OR a senior and candidate for graduation/ completion from a home school, eSchool, digital/online school, virtual academy, community school, or other state recognized charter non-public school; must have been residents of Marion County for at least two years prior to application; must have a minimum 2.5 GPA; must be pursuing a degree in health care, such as medicine, nursing, allied health, or similar fields; must be attending Ohio State University, Marion campus, or Marion Technical College. Selection criteria: Special consideration for applicants attending Marion Technical College and those who intend to remain in Marion, Ohio, after graduation for job/career.
