To provide financial assistance to college students with autism. Qualifications: Applicant must be diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder; must be a citizen of the U.S., a recent high school graduate or current undergraduate, and accepted or enrolled in an accredited school in the United States. Selection criteria: Selection will be looking for an articulate and clear essay that shows the applicant's unique personality and special experiences. How to apply: Applicants must complete the application and submit with the following: a letter of recommendation from a teacher or therapist; a letter from a doctor or therapist confirming diagnosis of Autism; a copy of high school transcript; and a 600-word essay. The essay should answer one of the following questions: What does it mean to you to be going to college?; What was your biggest accomplishment in school?; What do you see yourself doing in 10 years? Application and other materials should be mailed to address above. Focus: General studies/Field of study not specified.
