To provide financial support to individuals as needed for graduate expenses at any accredited college or university. Qualifications: Applicant must have been elected to membership in Kappa Gamma Pi by a Kappa-affiliated college or university and be a current dues payer. Kappa's nominated between June -May are considered current dues payers. KGP Cornaro Scholarship recipients (Cornaro Scholars) are not eligible to apply again for the scholarship. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the A panel of Kappa Gamma Pi members review all applications; Evaluation criteria include: academic excellence, academic honors and awards, volunteer work, leadership experience, career aspirations, personal goals, jobs held, financial need, letters of recommendation, and ability to follow application instructions accurately. (These are all elements that applicants have an opportunity to address in their application materials.) Applicants are scored based on evaluation criteria. Scores are combined and averaged to rank the applicants for selection. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online application; the completed application form along with the required supporting documents via e-mail; describe in 500 words or less volunteer work and leadership experience; describe in 500 words or less career aspirations and personal goals; describe specifically in 300 words or less financial situation; Submit two signed Letters of Recommendation on official letterhead from individuals who can write about how life reflects the KGP motto of faith and service.
