To support the education of a Jewish college or graduate student. Qualifications: Applicant must be Jewish and born and raised in Chicago metropolitan area, including Lake County, Indiana, or have one continuous year of full-time employment in the Chicago metro area prior to enrollment; must intend to remain in the Chicago metro area after completing school; must be entering or currently enrolled in an accredited program in a helping profession (business, communications, education, healthcare/public health, Jewish communal service, law, medicine, performing/fine arts, physical/natural sciences, social service, the rabbinate, technology/sciences, or urban affairs/public policy) on a full-time basis; and must demonstrate financial need and career promise. Selection criteria: Award will be given based on need. How to apply: Applicant must submit a completed Application Data Form; Career Statement Form; Budget Worksheet; and Academic Budget form as an attachment. In addition, applicants must send by mail a Legal Domicility Form; two letter of reference form; IRS Forms; parents' or spouse's IRS; documentation of tuition cost; Release of Information form; and official transcripts.
