To support law students interested in practicing in the areas of civil rights, public interest law, and/or public policy. Qualifications: Applicants must be law students and recent law school graduates with a connection to the Japanese American and/or Asian/Pacific Islander community who have a demonstrated commitment to community service. How to apply: Applicants must submit current resume, an official or unofficial transcript from law school and a personal statement of no more than 500 words addressing demonstrated commitment to community service,ties/involvement with the Japanese American community and/or API community (past, present and/or future) if any, plans for using your law degree and any other information that is relevant to the application.
