To support African/Caribbean students pursuing undergraduate degrees at Humber College. Qualifications: Applicants must be students of African/Caribbean background who have either Canadian citizenship or permanent residency; must be enrolled as a full-time, first-year student at Humber College; must demonstrate involvement and leadership in school and/or community activities; must demonstrate financial need; must be able to participate in the JCA’s Scholarships Awards Recognition Event. Selection criteria: The JCA Scholarship Committee and the Scholarship Donor will make final decisions. How to apply: Applications must be completed online. Required documents include proof of status in Canada, proof of enrollment in an Ontario postsecondary institution; two-page essay; most recent transcripts; income and expenses statement; and applicant photograph.
