To recognize excellence in chemistry or biochemistry by a woman undergraduate student. Qualifications: Candidate shall have attained junior standing in her curriculum at an accredited college or university and must have at least one semester of work remaining to be completed as of August 1 following the announcement; candidate must be a member of Iota Sigma Pi at the time of her nomination. Selection criteria: Selection will be made by a member of Iota Sigma Pi and must be supported by members of the faculty of the applicant's institution through letters of recommendation. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online application form; should include completed cover sheet; official transcripts; personal statement should not exceed 2 pages; letters of recommendation; a letter of nomination from a member of Iota sigma Pi; at least two letters of recommendation from faculty members who know the candidate's academic history and/or have taught her. Focus: Biochemistry; Chemistry.
