To support To nonprofit organization, to administer a scholarship program. Qualifications: Applicants must be immediate family members of IDA Installing/Servicing Dealer Members and IDA Supplier Members; employees of IDA Installing/Servicing Dealer Members and IDA Supplier Members; family member of Employee of IDA Installing/Servicing Dealer Members and IDA Supplier Members; the definition of immediate family is spouse, son, daughter, legally adopted, natural and stepchildren; the following individuals shall not be eligible: non-IDA door and access systems dealer family members and employees; IDA Subscribing Dealers, IDA Subscribing Associates, family members and employees; any applicant, not employed by the sponsoring company, who does not meet the criteria of the definition of immediate family as stated above; any applicant who submits an incomplete application. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria. How to apply: Applicants must submit online nomination form; have the following requirements ready: sponsoring company information; company name, address, phone number, company contact name; school information; GPA; community service project history; leadership and/or school involvement history; personal quote (to be used in IDA Magazine if win); school transcripts; personal headshot photo; personal essay (less than 250 words) on how the door industry has affected the applicant as well as what the money would be utilized for should the applicant be selected; 3 recommendations.
