To provide educational support for son or daughter of a member in Local 827. Qualifications: Applicants must be the son or daughter of a member in good standing in Local 827; applicant must be a high school senior in the year in which the application is filed with Local 827; or the child for whom such member supplies the principal support to make such child a dependent child under the internal revenue code; member must be in good standing until the time in which the scholarship is awarded. Selection criteria: Selection will be based the committee criteria and on class rank, school transcript, and SAT scores. How to apply: Applications must be submit online and following items; application shall be considered attached to it is the official certified high school record of the applicant’s freshman, sophomore, junior year grades along with senior year courses and first marking period grades together with the applicant’s SAT scores and school authorized signature.
