To encourage study of horticulture, floriculture, plant pathology, landscape design, turfgrass management, botany and other allied subjects that pertain to the green industry. Qualifications: Applicants must be student enrolled in an accredited two or four-year program in the State of Idaho and whose declared major is in line. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria; scholastic record, as well as the student’s ability and sincerity in pursuing employment in the Green Industry. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; one page typed theme interested in his or her particular field of endeavor and their future plans and goals; letter of recommendation from someone in applicants community who will evaluate applicants as a citizen; school transcript; letter of recommendation from a professor in the major field of study. Focus: Horticulture.
