To support Homer area students pursuing higher education in wildlife and/or fisheries management. Qualifications: Applicant must be a resident of the Foundation's service area (southern Kenai Peninsula, from Ninilchik south, including the communities on the south shore of Kachemak Bay); must have graduated from a school located within that service area or have received a GED equivalent; must be under the age of 20; must have a minimum 3.0 GPA; must be planning to pursue a career in fish and wildlife biology or management. Selection criteria: Preference for students planning on working in Alaska after completing their program. How to apply: Consolidated application must be completed online. Focus: Fisheries sciences/management; Wildlife conservation, management, and science.
